Thank You and Welcome!

Sunday's saddle fitting clinic was a huge success! We would like to thank Teresa Sico and her son, Andy, from Shady Acres Saddlery for their hard work, patience, and expertise in making this event happen. Shady Acres provided over 40 new and used barrel and trail saddles for the clinic. Mother Nature provided a beautiful, sunny day.

Saddle fit is the most important thing for both horse and rider. With no true standardization in the industry, it's important to work with someone experienced in fitting, as tree sizes and styles can vary greatly among saddle manufacturers.

Teresa and Andy spent the day working with clinic participants, matching the appropriate saddle for each horse and rider. We all learned a great deal about our current equipment and why it wasn't working, and what to look for when shopping for a new saddle that better suits the horse's confirmation and riding discipline. And we snagged some great deals on quality saddles!
